Depositing Funds to your Account

Depositing funds to you ACTTAB Betting Account is simple and convenient. Below is a list of the various methods you can use to deposit funds into your Betting Account.

• Cash or Cheques
• BPAY®
• Electronic Funds Transfers

• Credit Card

Cash or cheques can be deposited at any retail agency (not including clubs or taverns). Cheques must be made payable to "ACTTAB Limited" allowing for 7 days for clearance of cheques. Cheques or money orders may also be posted to:

Cheques should be made payable to 'ACTTAB Limited'. Please note that ACTTAB will not accept third party cheques (ie. cheques not made out to ACTTAB).

BPAY is the fastest and most convenient way to transfer funds into your ACTTAB Betting account. The ACTTAB Biller Code number is 45 419. Simply call ACTTAB Customer Services on (02) 6245 6201 for your Customer Reference Number and then call your bank to register.

To transfer funds to your ACTTAB Betting Account follow the 4 steps below:

1. Dial
Phone your participating bank's telephone banking service to register (refer below for bank phone list).

2. Follow
Follow the voice prompts and enter the ACTTAB Biller Code 45 419 and your customer reference number (provided to by ACTTAB Customer Services on 6245 6201).

3. Nominate
Name the account you wish to transfer from and the amount.

4. Receipt
You will be given a receipt number at the end of your transaction. Please keep a record of this for you files.

Please contact your own bank if not listed.

Electronic Funds Transfer (EFT)

Australian Residents
EFT can be used to transfer funds from your savings or cheque account to your ACTTAB Betting Account. ACTTAB provides this service through the Commonwealth Bank. EFTs are advised the following working day and deposited into your account. Deposits required for Saturday must be deposited no later than Thursday. Remember to add your account number on the deposit slip as a reference.

A minimum of AUD$100 is required for each deposit transaction. Deposit in currencies other than Australian dollars will incur conversion fee charges against your account.

Funds will be credited to your account upon notification from the Commonwealth Bank of their receipt of the EFT. International EFT normally clears overnight.

If you require funds to be available for use on Saturday, it is recommended that the EFT transaction occurs, at the latest, on the Wednesday prior. Please note that Australian Banks are not open on weekends.

Credit Card Deposits

Making deposits to your ACTTAB Betting Account is fast and convenient through online credit card deposits.

Visa and Mastercard can be used for transferring funds to your ACTTAB Betting Account.  All you need to do is complete the online registration once, and then you are ready to make deposits to your account.

If you have not made credit card deposits to your account before, you will need to complete registration which you will find under 'Register Account' on the left hand side of the webiste once you have logged into your account.  Once you have registered your account you may deposit funds using your credit card by clicking on 'Funds Deposit' located on the left hand menu of the website.  The 'Funds Deposit' option will only become available after the account is registered.

 Withdrawals

Cash or cheque withdrawals can be made at any ACTTAB agency (not clubs, hotels or taverns).  Simply fill out a Deposit/Withdrawal form and present your ACTTAB Account card to the Agents.

Electronic Funds Transfer (EFT) is also available to withdraw funds from your ACTTAB Betting Account. You will need to provide a written authority to Customer Services detailing your bank; it's address, BSB number and your Bank and Account numbers.  You will only need to provide this once as it will be held for future bank transfer withdrawals.

Alternatively, withdrawals can be requested through an operator or by contacting ACTTAB Customer Service on (02) 6245 6201.  A cheque will be posted to the ACTTAB Betting Account holder at the address shown on the account application form.
